UM Hires New GM

Media agency IPG Mediabrands has appointed Jennifer Yean as General Manager.Jennifer Yean

In her last role, Yean headed one of OMD’s largest client’s, McDonalds, and helped expand the business.

Prior to that she headed telco giant, DiGi, at Starcom and grew the business within a three year stint.

She has also been with Mindshare where she headed Maxus, a division of Group M.

Yean has been in the media planning business for more than 15 years after starting her career at media research in JWT.

Her passion for media began after two years of experience with SRM (now Ac Nielsen) doing quantitative research.

Yean has worked on multi-national clients including Nestle, Citibank, Kraft, GSK and Shell.

Her favorite pastime is reading and swimming. She also enjoys traveling and meeting new people.
