MilkADeal has set its sight on becoming a highly sought after groupsdeal site in Malaysia. But the market is playing host to many other players as well. Its challenge is to “cut-through”, and attract many more deal-prone shoppers to “take-the-deal”!

The Solution

The strategic thrust was to push MilkADeal out to social media enthusiasts, since they are always on top of things. A legion of supportive twitterers and bloggers were recruited to help get the word out and persuade off-take for the many deals they could offer.

With Nuffnang and ChurpChurp, MilkADeal was advertised through banner ads and social sharing as well. In addition, MilkADeal engaged 10 blogger ambassadors for their brand as well. The ambassadors promoted a variety of deals through their blogs and twitter account to their friends!

The Results

In two months, MilkADeal’s traffic hit the roof, tipped the balance and rose to the top in Malaysia. Traffic details furnished by Alexa proved the claim. There were splendid deals to boot as well. Case in point: One deal for treatment in a spa brought in over 1400 deals; and in 4 days!
