Elsewhere, does ZMOT or the “Zero Moment of Truth” ring a bell? In Google’s words, ZMOT is the new mental model of marketing—whereby consumers “now research online first, often making up their minds before they get to the store.” The Internet is changing the way consumers buy, such that it’s important to “show up at the right place, the right time, and with the right content.”
