BrandCare: Giving Noodles an Appetizing Look & Feel

The Brief

Nissin, a Japanese company that manufactures and distributes instant noodles in the region through its regional hub in Singapore launched a range of instant noodles to reinforce its premium image quality. Its identity is fronted by the Nissin masterbrand.

The brief tasked BrandCare to design a new logo, as well as multi-packages and single-packages for 2 noodle variants.

In particular, the design must resolutely imply everything associated with premium quality; and the essence must suggest everything that is considered Japanese. Surely, it must also look and feel appetising to noodle lovers.

The package is currently printed on foil with metallic finish in order to exude that premium feel and look, to help increase visibility on the shelf and more importantly, elicit the attention of shoppers.









Since launch in March 2012, the company claims that the product range has been well-received, and plans to take advantage of sales opportunities beyond Asia.
